Health Guarantee & Buyer Protection

At Bianca’s Yorkie, we are deeply committed to the health and happiness of every puppy we place in a new home. To give you peace of mind, every puppy purchased through BiancasYorkie.com is covered by a 1-year health guarantee provided by the breeder.

If you have specific questions about what is covered under your state law, we encourage you to review the puppy sales laws applicable in your state, as regulations can vary.

Initial Veterinary Visit Requirement

To activate your health guarantee, you must take your puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 10 days of receiving your puppy for a full health check.

If your veterinarian determines within those 10 days that your puppy is:

  • Clinically ill,

  • Has passed away from an injury or illness likely contracted before the date of delivery,

You are entitled to the following options:

  1. Return the puppy for a full refund,

  2. Exchange the puppy for another of equal value, or

  3. Keep the puppy and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinary expenses, up to the original purchase price.

Please note: These options do not apply if a licensed veterinarian’s health certificate was provided at the time of sale and the disclosed issue is the reason for your claim.

1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

If within one year of purchase a licensed veterinarian diagnoses your puppy with a congenital or hereditary condition that negatively impacts the puppy’s health—or the puppy passes away due to such a condition—you will have the same options listed above: refund, replacement, or reimbursement of veterinary fees.

Important Notification Requirement

In order to process a health-related claim, you must notify us within two business days of the veterinarian’s diagnosis. Please include the name, address, and phone number of the examining veterinarian.
Failure to notify within this time frame may void your right to compensation under this guarantee.

Understanding State Laws

Every U.S. state has its own laws regarding puppy health guarantees. In states that do not mandate a specific health guarantee, we require all breeders advertising through our platform to offer a minimum of 30 days of health coverage.

If your state requires a longer guarantee, that state law will take precedence over our minimum standards.

Extended Genetic Health Guarantees (When Offered)

Some breeders may choose to offer additional coverage beyond the 1-year guarantee. These extended genetic health guarantees may include:

  • Coverage for diseases or conditions proven to be of genetic origin by veterinary exam and testing.

  • Proper documentation must be provided before compensation is issued.

Please note:

  • Routine veterinary care is not covered under these guarantees.

  • Injuries caused by accidents or owner negligence are also excluded from coverage.

Your puppy’s health and your satisfaction are our top priorities. If you have any questions or need support during the process, we’re here to help every step of the way.
